Fastener Training Week heads to Cleveland April 7-11
Fastener Training Institute (FTI) will host its next Fastener Training Week, April 7-11, in Cleveland, OH. Fastener Training Week, sponsored by Birmingham Fastener, is FTI’s flagship training program that earns students Certified Fastener Specialist™ (CFS) designation after completion and passing a final exam.
“We look forward to welcoming our next class of Fastener Training Week students! Completing the class and becoming a Certified Fastener Specialist™ is a significant accomplishment,” said Jo Morris, Managing Director for FTI. “We are proud to make our industry safer and more reliable through advanced training.”
The list of topics for Fastener Training Week is extensive and thorough. Some key areas of focus include consensus standards organizations, IFI resources, torque tension, QA systems & sampling plans, thread technology and gage issues, print reading & tolerances, material specifications for steel fasteners and understanding how fasteners fail.
With every Fastener Training Week, Morris and her instructors enhance the content and teaching methods. More case studies are now used to offer real world examples. In addition, students participate in hands-on demonstrations, learning labs, general classroom instruction and plant tours - all in a team atmosphere.
Fastener Training Week in April will be held at Brighton-Best International and taught by industry-expert instructors from Industrial Fasteners Institute, Laurence Claus and Salim Brahimi. It is ideal for fastener distributors, manufacturers, end-users as well as sales and quality assurance professionals and works well for teams, departments and individuals.
The cost for the week is $3300 per person with a $500 discount available for multiple attendees and association members (Pac-West, NFDA, IFI, MWFA, NCFA and SFA). Prices increase on March 25. Learn more and register or email Jo Morris with questions.
Support from Würth Industry North America, FTI’s Sustaining Sponsor since 2019, is key to the successful presentation of Fastener Training Week as well as all training offerings from FTI.
