Denny Cowhey Retires

Leaving the Kids in Charge

Denny Cowhey,  who founded Computer Insights in 1981, is turning the company to its executive team upon his retirement this year.

Computer Insights has grown from a small company that served only a handful of customers that were in driving distance to what is now a multi-million dollar software company with clients throughout the United States and Canada. The company has developed The Business Edge, a software system exclusively designed to help distributors of fasteners and industrial supplies.

Far From an Impulse Decision

Succession planning has been in the works for the last several years. Denny's son, Dennis Cowhey, has been president of the company since 2011. Diane Miller has been with the company since the early '90s and became vice president in 2011. Denny recently shared, “I am very proud of what everyone at Computer Insights has created and I know I am leaving the company in good hands.”

Denny's Future

Denny is now a full time Florida resident with his wife Deb. They plan on spending time golfing and playing tennis. When they are not out playing sports they stay busy with various volunteer activities and entertaining.

Do not hesitate to contact Computer Insights to find out more about what is in store for the future.
