I wanted to let you know about a new coating that we are introducing for our products that is poised to be one of the most revolutionary changes of the year for the fastener industry.  The coating, called “ArmorGalv®”, surpasses 1,000 hours of corrosion protection and unlike other platings or coatings, the vapor process coats all surfaces of the product uniformly – even recessed surfaces!  This means that hollow parts receive full coverage within the ID of the part which is a major advantage over other finish options.  Furthermore, ArmorGalv will not flake or peel as the coating is diffused into the surface of the part, and there is no risk of hydrogen embrittlement. While we will eventually offer this coating for all of our product lines, we are initially rolling this out for our Tubular Products (roll-formed Spacers, Compression Limiters, Dowels and Bushings).
