New Women in the Fastener Industry Group Being Formed

 

Returning after a one-year absence, the 30th National Industrial Fastener Show/East, May 25-26, 2010, Columbus, Ohio has gained momentum during the past several weeks, reports Susan A. Hurley, Show Manager. "We have sold a number of booths recently and are receiving new inquiries and contracts on a regular basis.

Early Bird registration is available until April 23 and a special discounted fee is being offered to members of any fastener industry association. You can register online at www.fastenershows.com. "It is easy, fast and secure”, says Denise Hill, registration manager.

 

The Fastener Training Institute is offering two excellent programs; "Print Reading for Fastener Industry Professionals” and "Solid Modeling and Computer Aided Design for Fasteners and Assembly Components”. The half-day seminars are being presented from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 25. Registration is $199/person for either seminar or only $350/person (including lunch) for both. There will also be a formative meeting of the Women in the Fastener Industry group held on Tuesday, May 25. Mary Lou Aderman of the Aderman Co., Inc. will serve as moderator of this meeting. Ms. Aderman specializes in coaching and consulting for the fastener industry. Interested women should contact Ms. Aderman at AdermanCo@aol.com for information regarding the meeting time and location. There is no charge for attending the meeting.

 

The always-popular Welcoming Reception will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 25 featuring complimentary snacks and beverages. The reception is open free-of-charge to all registered Show exhibitors and visitors wearing a badge.

 

The one-day expo will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26.
